It's all Relative

You have placed your profile/ad. You searched, you have respond to emails and you hope that something will happen. You are gambling and the odds are against you. For every man posted, there are two women out there. I wonder what it was like for a woman 25 years ago, how did they find someone? Without the Internet? Without the instant gratification when you get a response from someone. In 20 years there will no longer be dating sites but some other form of communication that will get the sexes together. I can only imagine. I looked at the women that are my age out there. OMG there is a ton of them. Some are average like me, some are beautiful, and some are way out there. Every single email I have read has responded with a story about not so good luck. The profiles read no crazy women. The women start creating profiles that describe everything that is wanted by the men, what they have stated what they are looking for. What is real any more? Women don't hold all the cards. It is not just the women that lie but men as well. It is like a race to see who will cross the finish line first. I am thinking I will get hit by lightening before I can real in a fish. Even then the fish is going to be one of those nasty ones. I had one friend tell me that I should try Craig's list, that I might get paid for it. As you might suspect it was a man that told me this. Women at my age are not in it for just the sex. After all a girl always has a back up - BOB (battery operated boyfriend). Another friend told me that there is a site called adopt a guy. I am thinking when my emails on these other sites have stopped I will have to try this outlet as well.
Status update......still no password from eHarmony. Finally got a call from one of the men that I gave my number to and it did not end up in someone looking for sex. It was a little disappointing in the fact that he lives so far away. One has to use every opportunity in life, it will be good practice on what to say and what not to say.
Tomorrow will be another day and my luck might turn. OK this is my Blog, I can dream if I want too.
